Scream Already Revealed Sidney's Perfect Ending (Not Her Death)

Scream 2022 already revealed Sidney Prescott's perfect ending, and it's not her death. If Neve Campbell's character returns for another Scream sequel, the long-running protagonist could be killed off. However, as that same film proves, killing her now would be a mistake.
Scream 2022is the fifth installment in the Scream franchise and the first to not be directed by Wes Craven following his death in 2015. Helmed by Ready or Not's Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillet, the film follows a new cast of characters in Woodsboro as they are stalked by Ghostface. In addition, Campbell's Sidney makes a return, along with David Arquette's Dewey Riley and Courteney Cox's Gale Weathers.

Among Scream 2022's shocking twists, including the reveal that Melissa Barrera's Sam Carpenter is Billy Loomis' daughter, the aforementioned Dewey meets his tragic demise at the hands of Ghostface after surviving the prior four films. With this, it's apparent that the new filmcould be setting up a series of films that sees the legacy characters pass on the torch to the new characters. This means it's likely for Sidney to make an appearance that gives her a full send-off. Ironically enough, her latest appearance has already given viewers a taste of what Sidney's perfect ending is: a life as the happy, well-adjusted mother of two girls who is married to Scream 3's Mark Kincaid. Despite returning to Woodsboro in Scream 2022, Sidney deserves a chance to return to her quiet family life without continued threats
