Every month, PlayStation Plus subscribers are able to claim a new batch of free games for their collection. March is no exception, with the free PlayStation Plus games for March 2022 now available to claim across PS4 and PS5. And while the free PS Plus games usually consist of just three titles every month, March 2022 is offering a bonus free game for fans to claim and there's still a wildcard coming later in the month to consider as well.
Right now, PS Plus subscribers can claim ARK: Survival Evolved and Team Sonic Racing on PS4, Ghostrunner on PS5, and Ghost of Tsushima: Legends across both PS4 and PS5. Those in Asian territories are able to claim Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons as one of the free games instead of ARK: Survival Evolved. All of these games will be available for PS Plus subscribers to claim throughout the month of March, and then in April they will be replaced by the next batch of free games.
PS Plus Subscribers Shouldn't Worry About Ghost of Tsushima: Legends 'Trial' Label
The other game for PS Plus subscribers to consider is the PS5 version of Grand Theft Auto Online. However, there is some confusion about Grand Theft Auto Online and its relationship to PlayStation Plus. At the PlayStation Future of Gaming Show in 2020, when the PS5 was first revealed, it was stated that PS5 owners would «get GTA Online free at launch,» with the announcement including the PlayStation Plus logo and a note that PS Plus is required for users to play the game.
Some took this to mean that GTA Online would be a free PS Plus game, as «get» suggests that players will get to keep it for their collection. However, a recent blog post by Rockstar Games said GTA Online will be «available for free for the first three months to PlayStation
