WWE 2K22 is relatively new, but the game still had its share of problems that needed to be addressed. While plenty of the game's larger issues have been fixed, there are still some problems that needed attention in the game.
WWE 2K22 previously received patch updates earlier in March that were used to address various gameplay and performance issues in the game. The latest patch update, patch 1.07, was released on March 28 and covers several specific issues in the game instead of general issues in the game. Patch 1.07 provides improvements to several aspects of the Create a Superstar game mode, so it can function better in the game.

The hotfix resolves issues with the general stability of the Create a Superstar game mode when players use a large selection of original creations with custom portraits in WWE 2K22. According to the patch notes, the hotfix for WWE 2K22 also covers several reported concerns about issues with the Create a Superstar mode in the game. It addresses an issue with instability in the game mode as a result of players applying 35 or more custom image renders to any original superstars.
The hotfix also deals with the reported concerns over the possibility that online instability can happen due to one or multiple users possessing empty custom portraits in the game. It covers another reported concern, but it's not for the Create a Superstar game mode in WWE 2K22. The third function of the patch is to specifically address the potential issue of a player accepting an online game invite while WWE 2K22 is in a «suspended state.»
Unlike previous patch updates for WWE 2K22, this patch update for the game is relatively short instead of addressing more general issues in the game.
