The Sims 4 My Wedding Stories pack received a patch from EA on March 31, 2022, that claims to have fixed the problems within the latest expansion kit. The patch has focused on improving the gameplay surrounding wedding ceremonies and addressing other reported issues.
EA and developer Maxis delivered the news on Twitter that the patch for The Sims 4 was now live for PC and Consoles. The patch reportedly fixes some of the biggest known issues with ceremony activities not working properly during vow renewals, receptions, and wedding ceremony parties. Sims will also now be able to go up and down short, medium, and long aisles during the Gather at Aisle interaction.

The news will please The Sims 4 fans as the My Wedding Stories pack has been significantly broken since it launched on February 23, 2022, with players reporting a smorgasbord of issues with the new DLC. Some major issues reported by players included Sims not walking up and down the aisle correctly, guests showing up in improper wedding attire, guests performing inappropriate activities during the wedding ceremonies, and many more.
Some of the more amusing issues that have been addressed in the patch are either the bride or groom not showing up for their own wedding ceremony, the ability to be able to ask children to partake in alcoholic beverages at the bar, sims with a larger backside experiencing clipping issues, and not enough sunshine in Tartosa.
