February 23 is the last Wednesday of the month, and so it's time for PlayStation Plus subscribers to learn about the next batch of free games. As expected, Sony has pulled the curtain back on what PS Plus subscribers can expect from the service in March 2022. And thanks to a pair of bonus free games, technically subscribers have a whopping four games to look forward to in March instead of the usual three.
Starting Tuesday, March 1 and through April 4, PS Plus subscribers can claim ARK: Survival Evolved, Ghostrunner, Ghost of Tsushima: Legends, and Team Sonic Racing. Ghostrunner is PS5-only, whereas ARK: Survival Evolved and Team Sonic Racing are PS4 offerings. Both the PS5 and PS4 version of Ghost of Tsushima: Legends will be available for subscribers to claim, with Sony pushing it as a bonus game.
PS Plus Marketing Language Change May Hint at Rumored New Subscription Service
Another game will be available for PS Plus subscribers to play starting March 15 in the form of Grand Theft Auto Online. This new version of Grand Theft Auto Online is a native PS5 release, and it's releasing as a standalone product separate from Grand Theft Auto 5. It seems that PS Plus subscribers will only have access to Grand Theft Auto Online for a three-month window as opposed to getting to keep it for their collection, which is likely why it wasn't mentioned in the free PS Plus games for March 2022 announcement.
