Genshin Impact Leak Potentially Reveals Sumeru Release Date

The introduction of a new region is probably the most exciting thing a regular Genshin Impact player is looking forward to. This tends to be especially true in the latter stages of Genshin Impact's updates when there aren't as many available quests.

Update 2.4 jas brought two new playable characters, Shenhe and Yun Jin, alongside a brand-new region named Enkanomiya. The last couple of updates have brought the long-awaited Inazuma islands, and it seems as though miHoYo is not planning to stop there.

Genshin Impact offers a large and diverse world, from the high mountains of Liyue and Inazuma to the plains of Mondstadt. A recent post on the popular Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit has given more information about the arrival of a brand-new main region by the name Sumeru. Apparently, Sumeru will arrive in update 3.0 which is speculated to drop around August 3.
