Rumor: Genshin Impact Leak Claims to Reveal Ayato's DPS Role

Character rumors are very common in Genshin Impact and usually create a lot of hype for characters who are still in development. The addition of new characters and regions are the two main events most Genshin Impact players look forward to in each new update.

While version 2.5 has not even arrived yet, new leaks have already revealed information about Genshin Impact update 2.6. Developer miHoYo has already confirmed a brand-new character named Kamisato Ayato for 2.6. He will apparently be a new five-star roster addition considering that he's the only announced character.

Ayato is the head of the Kamisato clan and even though most players thought that it was his sister Ayaka who was pulling the strings for the clan, recent story quests have revealed that it's actually Ayato who assumes the leadership role. An interesting post on the Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit has revealed that Ayato will be a classic DPS character with a strong focus on Normal Attacks, similar to the recently released Arataki Itto.
