Umbrella Academy Renewed For Fourth Season Which Will Be Its Last
Since its debut in 2019, The Umbrella Academy has become one of Netflix's most popular installments, breaking viewership records and receiving numerous accolades. Based on the graphic novel series written by Gerard Way and illustrated by Gabriel Bá, the show has captivated millions of fans worldwide with its exploration of family dynamics and trauma throughout three seasons. Now, the story of the dysfunctional Hargreeves family is coming to an end.
Earlier this week, Netflix announced via social media that The Umbrella Academy had been renewed for a fourth and final season. According to Deadline, showrunner and executive producer Steve Blackman expressed his excitement about fans experiencing «the fitting end to the Hargreeves siblings’ journey» that began in 2017 when the show started production.

«But before we get to that conclusion, we’ve got an amazing story ahead for season four, one that will have fans on the edge of their seats until the final minutes,» added Blackman. Although many details —such as an official release date— remain unclear, season 4 will see the return of Elliot Page (Viktor/Number 7), Tom Hopper (Luther/Number 1), David Castañeda (Diego/Number 2), Emmy Raver-Lampman (Allison/Number 3), Robert Sheehan (Klaus/Number 4), Aidan Gallagher (Number 5), Justin H. Min (Ben/Number 6), Ritu Arya (Lila), and Colm Feore (Sir Reginald). Per Deadline, series regulars Adam Godley (Pogo), Genesis Rodriguez (Sloane/Sparrow Number 5), and Britne Oldford (Fei/Sparrow Number 3) are not listed, though the fate of their characters is unknown.
