The UK's bestselling physical games usually don't move much beyond the usual suspects, but this year's steady stream of big new releases has seen it jump around a fair bit. The latest chart is a good example, which sees another Nintendo exclusive debut at number one with Pikmin 4, while EA has made an impact with The Sims 4: Horse Ranch in third place. It's rare to see a PC game in the physical games charts, so it seems this is a much sought after expansion.
Most of the games you'd expect to be higher are lower down. FIFA 23 remains steady in second place, but Hogwarts Legacy is in sixth and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is in seventh. Elden Ring is actually up one position into number nine, and Diablo 4 rounds out the top 10, having jumped up from 13th. As more new releases head our way in August and beyond, we expect the UK's physical chart to remain unusually active.
