Sometimes fortune is not your friend when it comes to the latest puzzle, but to counteract that we have the clues you need to finish solving it. Sometimes it takes a village, and perhaps having a friend work together with you could help solve the puzzle every day. However, if none of your friends seem interested, we are still here to be your friend and help you get this puzzle done.
Another game that will test your fortune is the NYT's game. This game is all about pattern recognition, as it requires you to solve the puzzle two tiles at a time. However, those two tiles must be strung together with another tile to keep a streak going, so you have to pay attention to multiple patterns going on at once.
To help you in your quest for an easy win, we've got a few hints to help out with today's categories. If it's not enough, we provided the full spoilers at the end.
Four categories with four words each sounds simple, but the daily challenge of the Connections game can prove difficult without a few tips to help.
If those hints are not enough of a tidbit for you, we have more waiting in the form of the category names in the table below:
LARGE AMOUNT OF MONEY
BITS OF WISDOM
FEATURED IN «JURASSIC PARK»
THINGS THAT ARE PURPLE
LARGE AMOUNT OF MONEY
BUNDLE
FORTUNE
MINT
PILE
This category I actually solved last, which is kind of telling. Only FORTUNE and MINT suggest the idea of money, in my opinion, while BUNDLE and PILE could be in reference to a large amount of anything. To me, the two feel very separate, and it felt strange that this was supposed to be the easy category today. Still, at least I managed to solve the puzzle, which is what is important at the end of the day.
BITS OF WISDOM
KERNAL
NUGGET
PEARL
TIDBIT
This category felt like the easiest one today, as the words felt much more cohesive and connected than the others. It helps that I use most of these in conversation, as I do love a good TIDBIT, and they are often fun things to share with others.
