Publisher Astra Logical and developer kaleidoscube have announced RECUR, a puzzle platformer in which players can rewind, fast-forward, and pause time. It will launch for PC via Steam in 2026.
“We are super excited to finally show what we have been working on intensely for over two years,” said kaleidoscube managing director Dominik Schon in a press release. “In fact, our first prototypes for this game date back to 2017—it’s amazing to finally see it all come together.”
Schon continued, “What excites us most about the game mechanic in RECUR is how we can use it on a small scale for each individual puzzle, but also on a large scale when walking through the city and experiencing the recurring catastrophe.”
Astra Logical managing director Heather Jackson added, “We’re so proud to help bring RECUR to life and share it with players. Day of the Devs gave us the perfect platform to showcase the game, and the feedback we’ve received has been incredible. We can’t wait to let players dive into this story and experience the world kaleidoscube has built!”
