Thor: Love and Thunder has finally released, giving fans a new story that pushes Thor’s character arc forward while providing plenty of laughs along the way. Though critic reviews for the latest Thor film have been surprisingly mixed, fans seem to really be enjoying Thor’s latest outing. Taika Waititi’s colorful visual style and unique brand of humor are apparent throughout, though what works particularly well about the film is the decision to feature two Thors.
While having Thor Odinson and Jane Foster fighting together on the big screen could have proved boring from a visual perspective, Waititi made sure to give them both some unique weapons so that their fighting styles were different. Seeing them combine their attacks during the big action sequences is a real treat, with the action being so strong that it is hard not to think of the potential a video game starring the two Thors would have.
Minor Spoilers for Thor: Love and Thunder ahead.
