As reported by, new adverts and partial demonstrations of the game at the 2024 Pokémon World Championships have revealed part of ’s contents. These include new renditions of Gen 1’s Squirtle and Pidgeot, depicted swimming and plucking a Magikarp from a river, respectively, in full-art cards that come complete with iridescent borders.
Although none of these cards appear to be Immersive Cards, they nevertheless serve as beautiful windows into the natural world of the franchise. For example, Squirtle’s swimming through a river is rendered in simplistic but beautiful colors and detail, including the glistening ripples the Tiny Turtle Pokémon leaves in its wake.
