Campfire Cozy Friends is an interesting new cozy RPG announced yesterday by the namesake independent developer Campfire. The team, composed of just five people, has designed the game around its Sprites toolkit, which they say is an 'All-in-one AI Engine for Games and Entertainment Apps.'
Thanks to this AI Engine, Campfire Cozy Friends will feature unrestricted dialogues that mirror real-world conversations, allowing players to shape the story and make real connections. According to the studio, this will result in a satisfying social sandbox filled with memorable personal moments.
Siamak Freydoonnejad, Co-Founder of Campfire, said in a statement:

In the game, which has been described as Animal Crossing with AI NPCs, players step into the shoes of a concierge with the goal of transforming the tropical Camp Island into a five-star tourist destination. They will repair and restore the island alongside a cast of friendly animal residents who weave the fabric of island life. Make friends with the locals, spark open-ended conversations, and engage in many other charming interactions.
It's also possible to build houses, wear flower crowns, and wear colorful clothes alongside an ensemble of adorable animals, such as Angelina Arcadia, Fred Flyfish, or Mayor Thompson alongside 26 unlockable characters.
