Microsoft will remove a total of 11 games from the Game Pass library in October.
By Eddie Makuch on
As it does twice per month, Microsoft is removing another set of titles from the Xbox Game Pass library. There are five games leaving the service on October 31, following the six that were axed from Game Pass on October 15.
Titles getting dropped from Game Pass on October 31 include Gunfire Reborn, Kill It With Fire, Persona 5 Royal, Signalis, and Solasta Crown of the Magister. Persona 5 Royal and Signalis were added to Game Pass in October 2022, so there is a possibility that Microsoft had a one-year deal for these titles.

Game Pass isn't just losing games in October, though. Like A Dragon: Ishin comes to the service today, October 17, while F1 Manager 2023 lands on October 19. Day-one launches like Cities: Skylines II and Headbangers: Rhythm Royale are also coming this month. For more, check out GameSpot's rundown of all the games coming to Game Pass before the end of October.
Now that October's first and second waves of additions and removals have been announced, we know that Game Pass will have added 13 games and removed 11 during October, for a net growth of two games. There is always the chance of additional Game Pass surprise additions (or removals) for October, so this number could change.
Looking ahead, Persona 5 Tactica is coming to Game Pass in November, with Persona 3 Reload coming in February 2024.
