After having recently released its New Game Plus altering update for Lords of the Fallen on PC, developer Hexworks has now released the update on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S as well. The update brings a major shakeup to the game’s implementation of New Game Plus, removing vestiges until NG+3, at which point the game offers its biggest challenges.
Players already in the midst of a New Game Plus run of Lords of the Fallen don’t have to worry about their character progression, as the update allows players to simply reset their world to take advantage of the new New Game Plus systems.
The update also brings with it other improvements to the game, including the leasing system now being better about limiting how far enemies will chase down players that decide to just run past them. Previously, enemies would be incredibly persistent in chasing players down.
Lords of the Fallen has been quite successful for Hexworks, with the game having sold over a million copies in its first 10 days of release. The Souls-styled RPG is out now on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, and for more details, you can check out our review.
