Locations and sets for The Witcher’sseason 3 have been revealed by Steve Gaud, an executive producer on the show. The much-anticipated season 2 of The Witcherhit Netflix at the tail end of 2021 and was well-received by the majority of audiences and critics. The second outing of the show did receive some criticism from a small section of the fanbase, however, due to several variations from The Witcher books, which the series is based on.
Season 2 introduced audiences to a variety of stunning new locations, such as the stronghold of the witchers, Kaer Morhen. Along with the stronghold, fans were given their first glimpse of Witchers other than Geralt, like mentor Vesemir and close friend Eskel. The set design is one aspect of the series that has received some of the most praise since The Witcher’sfirst season, with the show’s aesthetic and visuals helping to set the sheries' tone and atmosphere.

A first look at some of the new sets and locations for The Witcher’supcoming third season has been released by Gaud on Instagram. The images show the construction of what appears to be a huge set that will leave fans guessing as to what it will ultimately be. In addition to the set are photos of real-life tunnels and open-air locations that the showrunners plan to use for shoots. Check out the photos below:
