A new behind-the-scenes image from the upcoming NationalTreasureseries reveals a first look at the set. It was announced in 2021 that National Treasure would be getting its own Disney+ series as an expansion of the 2004 and 2007 National Treasure films starring Nicolas Cage. While no release date has been announced, a first look at this highly awaited follow-up has finally been revealed.
The National Treasure show is separate from National Treasure 3, which is also currently in production. The Disney+ series will feature a new cast of characters, with the story focusing on a DREAMer named Jess (Lisette Alexis) searching for a lost Pan-American treasure. The show is being produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, who produced the first two National Treasure films and is also producing the upcoming third film.

Production was set to start early this year, and now, cinematographer Tom Camarda has posted a photo to his Instagram, revealing a behind-the-scenes look at the National Treasure series' set. The image shows what appears to actually be several sets on a soundstage, with many lights and rigging hanging above. The sets do not appear to be decorated, indicating that they are still in the process of being built, and filming has not yet started. From the image, it also appears that one of the sets has large windows wrapping around it and another features large archways. Check out the image below:
