The War Within 11.0 PTR Live for Character Copies Only - Prepare for Warband Testing on June 17
Blizzard has announced that the PTR for the War Within is now live! However, for now all you can really do is copy characters.
This is because this is the preparation stage for the Warband feature test on the PTR, starting onJune 17.
This test is specifically to test the Warband Conversion system, which includes making achievements and Dragonflight reputation access account-wide! Logging on a copied character on the 11.0 TWW PTR before June 17 will simply result in a «World Server is down» error message.
Blizzard is asking for players who have lots of characters who you may play a lot with! To participate in the Warband testing, simply enter on the Public Test Realm (TWW 11.0) game version on your WoW client and find the option to copy characters on the bottom of the Warband selection screen.
Come help us test the Warband feature on your favorite characters! We want to test how character info on multiple characters merge when it becomes account wide.
This is how the testing will work:
- June 12 – The PTR realms for The War Within Pre-Expansion update (11.0.1) will become available to copy characters only. We will ask that you copy as many characters as you like to the PTR, especially multiple characters that you have played a lot will be particularly helpful for this test.
June 17 – We will run the conversion and open the servers for logging in.
