Frogwares has revealed The Sinking City 2, a sequel to the Lovecraftian detective game that’s leaning much, much further in to the horror genre. The game is coming out in 2025 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
The Sinking City 2 takes us to 1920s Arkham – no, not the Batman one, but the Lovecraft one – and while there’s a familiar cosmic horror tone, Frogwares are exploring much more of the horror side of things. it will and will feature “iconic Lovecraftian monsters like the Deep Ones more front and center,” but Frogwares are aiming to put their own spin on the Lovecraftian setting.
