Last year, EA asked The Sims 4 players to vote between a Medieval Castle or High Tech Futurism pack. Fantasy won, leaving fans eagerly awaiting some kind of update. Seven months later, one finally arrived thanks to an accidental leak on the EA app.
As reported by Sims Community, the listing calls it the "Castle Estate Kit" and comes with two screenshots. The first shows a giant gleaming grey castle with a moat and portcullis gate. The second shows a more intimate, closer look at a gothic, black-and-grey castle, with a couple standing on the balcony beside statues of knights as they flirt with each another.

It'll cost the usual £4.99 (or £4.49 if you have EA Play), but the release date is still a mystery. Right now, it's listed as October 15, 2099. But with The Sims 5 on the horizon, I doubt its predecessor will be getting updates in 75 years.
It's clearly a placeholder, but given that the page accidentally went live ahead of an official announcement, launch is likely imminent.
As reported by Eurogamer, that leaves another community vote in the wings. Not only did players pick fantasy kingdoms over sci-fi hovels, but they also voted for Goth Fashion over Rainbow Core.
