Daedalic Entertainment recently confirmed that its upcoming stealth action-adventure title The Lord of the Rings: Gollum will launch on PC with DLSS 3 and RTX support, while also revealing its full PC requirements, and the developer has now also offered some details on what to expect from the game on current-gen consoles on the technical front.
Speaking in a recent interview with GamingBolt, producer Harald Riegler confirmed that the game will target a 2K resolution and “stable 60 FPS” on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, and that it will feature quality and performance option modes at launch. The specifics of those modes haven’t been confirmed, but those looking for options that prioritize resolution and frame rate will have them- which isn’t always the case even when it should be, as recent events have taught us.
In the same interview, Riegler also revealed to GamingBolt that The Lord of the Rings: Gollum will be roughly 20 hours long on “a relaxed playthrough”. Our full interview with Riegler will be live soon, so stay tuned for that.
The Lord of the Rings: Gollum is due out on May 25 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
