Nintendo has just announced that The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom sales have surpassed 10 million copies worldwide.
In just three days after launch, the sequel to 2017's Breath of the Wild has already sold more than 10 million copies, thereby becoming the fastest-selling game in the franchise. Nintendo announced the news via Twitter and through a press release. According to the press release, out of the 10 million copies sold globally, more than 4 million were sold in the US. In addition to becoming the fastest-selling Zelda installment to date, Tears of the Kingdom has also become the fastest-selling Switch and fastest-selling Nintendo game in history in the US.
