The Legend of Heroes Hits Another New Title, The Northern War
Players in Japan are steeling themselves for battles and captivating stories. The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel Northern War is officially launching in Japan tomorrow. It’s out for pre-downloads today, so get your hands on the game from the Play Store.
Northern War is based on the anime series of the same name. It’s the first anime series of The Legend of Heroes franchise. Set in the period between Trails of Cold Steel II and III, Northern War is about the Erebonian Empire vs North Ambria war.
You’ll follow the story of Lavian Winslet living in the poor northwestern country of the Zemurian continent. Lavian joins the Northern Jaegers to protect her hometown and discern herself from her grandfather, well-known North Ambrian hero, Vlad Winslet’s disloyalty. Take a peek at the game below!
Expect to encounter a lot of familiar faces from the previous The Legend of Heroes titles. In addition to Lavian, Martin S. Robinson, Talion Drake, and Iseria Frost, you can run into Rean Schwarzer, Fie Claussell, and more.
The RPG game earned a significant number of pre-registrations earlier this year. They rolled out exclusive goodies for players like Gacha tickets, character EXP crystals, Mira, and even the elusive SSR Elie MacDowell.
The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel Northern War will have an ARCUS II system similar to Trails of Cold Steel III. All-Round Communication & Unison System is a 5th-generation battle orbment developed by the Epstein Foundation. Now, what’s an orbment, you may ask. Well, it’s a mechanical device that can produce a bevy of effects using quartz.
