WARNING: This article includes spoilers from The Flash season 8, episodes 18 and 19.
The trailer for The Flash season 8, episode 19 previews the return of a major character as the Arrowverse drama heads into its two-part season finale. Things are getting ready to come to a close in The Flash season 8 as there are only two episodes left to air. One of the remaining unsolved storylines that the show has left is Iris West-Allen's time-sickness. Since the end of The Flash season 8, episode 14, Candice Patton's character has been missing as Iris' condition made her vanish again. While Iris has gone missing before, this is the longest period she has been MIA, which will be dealt with in the remaining episodes of The Flash season 8.
In The Flash season 8, episode 18, «The Man in the Yellow Tie,» Barry Allen focused heavily on training the show's new speedster, Meena Dhawan, better known to DC fans as Fast Track. While the episode included Matt Letscher's Reverse-Flash, Eobard Thawne's return came with a twist. Even though he is the original Thawne, this Eobard has no memories of being an evil speedster, nor of his rivalry with The Flash. However, based on the ending of The Flash season 8, episode 18, things may not be as peaceful for this Eobard for much longer.
