The Flash Meena Dhawan Actor Addresses Season 9 Return Chances
Kausar Mohammed addresses the possibility her character Meena Dhawan/Fast Track will return for The Flash season 9. Viewers were introduced to the Arrowverse's version of Meena in season 8, episode 17, «Keep It Dark,» when Barry confronted her over some stolen tech. In the episodes since, Team Flash has rallied with Meena to defeat the Negative Speed Force, which had a hold on her. Barry even helped Meena's partner Eobard Thawne, recognizing him to be a different version of the person who murdered his mother. However, this all proved pointless at the end of a recent episode, when both Meena's Thawne and Iris were seemingly killed.
This left many viewers wondering what The Flash season 9 will look like when it returns as part of The CW's midseason lineup. Luckily, it was recently confirmed that Iris actor Candice Patton will return, so it seems her character comes back in some way. However, as was revealed in April, fellow original cast member Jesse L. Martin, who plays Joe West, is exiting as a series regular, though with the option to return for at least a couple of episodes. This seems like a strong possibility if The Flash season 9 winds up being the show's last, but that hasn't been confirmed yet.

With the status of so many characters in flux, some are wondering about Meena. In an interview with Hidden Remote, Mohammed was asked if Meena will be back for The Flash season 9. While she couldn't say for sure one way or another, she did sound hopeful. Read Mohammed's quote below:
