Warning! Spoilers ahead for The Flash #783
The latest issue of DC's The Flash introduces a new version of Barry Allen who's embraced his inner Road Warrior and gone full Mad Max. Tying into the new Dark Crisis crossover event, the time has finally come for the Flash Family to save the original Barry Allen who's been lost in the multiverse. However, it seems as though they'll be encountering different variants before finding their own Flash, including one who's seemingly become the Fastest Driver Alive.
In previous issues of The Flash, Wally West has been Earth's primary speedster while Barry Allen has been exploring the greater omniverse that's emerged thanks to DC's Infinite Frontier. However, the Justice League and Flash Family eventually lost contact with Barry. Captured by the villain Pariah, Allen has been held prisoner on a fantasy world fabricated to give the Flash his perfect happy ending with his friends and family.

Now, Wally and the rest of the Flash Family finally decide to take action in the new Flash #783 from Jeremy Adams and Amancay Nahuelpan. Following the collective death of the Justice League, the world needs Barry Allen more than ever. Locking onto 3 different signatures in the multiverse that could be their version of Barry, the search has begun with the speedsters splitting into teams. As a result, Jesse Quick and Max Mercury come face to face with a very different Flash in the multiverse, one who resembles George Miller's Road Warrior named Mad Max more than he does Barry Allen. Case in point, this new Flash is seen racing through a wasteland in an impressive muscle car while leading a caravan of bikes, cars, and semi-trucks.
