The Epic Games Store’s latest free game is Death Stranding, the debut title from Kojima Productions.
The game, which was also given away for 24 hours last Christmas, is currently free to claim until May 25, when it will be replaced by a mystery title.
The Epic Games Store gave away 99 free titles last year (up from 89 in 2021). These games had a combined worth of $2,240 and users claimed over 700 million free titles (down from 765 million in 2021), according to Epic.
The Epic Games Store has also launched its ‘Mega Sale 2023’ promotion. Featuring discounts of up to 75%, it will run until June 15 at 8am PT / 11am ET / 4pm BST.
All Epic Games Store accounts will also automatically receive a coupon offering 25% off purchases priced at, or combining to, $14.99 / £11.99 / €14.99.
And players will receive another 25% off coupon each time they complete an eligible transaction (see T&Cs).
Additionally, the Epic Rewards scheme is now live. “For every eligible purchase on the Epic Games Store, you’ll receive 5% back of the total spent as credit to use in the store,” Epic said.
Metro: Last Light will be free to download from Steam for one week starting later today.
The offer, which will launch at 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm BST, coincides with the 10th anniversary of 4A Games’ post-apocalyptic shooter.
