A new patch is available for Horizon Forbidden West’s Burning Shores expansion. It fixes several issues with the main quests, from progression blockers to bugs like Seyka’s bow floating in the air. While exploring the new Cauldron, you’ll no longer see progress reset if you finish the first room, exit and return.
Interestingly, there are some nerfs to specific armor sets. The Quen Deadeye, Quen Commander, Blacktide Quen Commander and Tenakth Vanquisher have their Acid Resistance boost reduced by 10 percent. This is to align with other resistances. Fortunately, a bug that caused Aloy to not equip weapons after being attacked by a Clamberjaw is fixed.
Of course, there are several fixes for crashes and places where the player could become stuck. Check out the full patch notes below. Horizon Forbidden West is available for PS4 and PS5, but Burning Shores is exclusive to PS5. You can read our review of the expansion here.
