The Elder Scrolls Online has released Update 37 for the base game, along with the new dungeon DLC, Scribes of Fate, on PC and Mac today. This new content marks the official start of the Shadow Over Morrowind adventure, and the base game update includes new rewards, new items, quality of life improvements, and a new accessibility feature.
The Scribes of Fate DLC is centered around two brand new dungeons, Bal Sunnar and Scrivener’s Hall. These dungeons will offer some new challenges, lore, and even more questions and answers from the mysterious settings in Morrowind. Update 37 is also out with the DLC (console release will be on March 28th), This isn't quite as flashy as new brand new dungeons that kick off an adventure that is taking us to one of the most iconic places in Elder Scrolls history, but there's plenty of stuff in here.
Many of the changes in Update 37 are quality of life changes. Some of the timers for daily and weekly resets have been updated and changed to streamline them to the daily login reward time. This means that everything should be active at the same time so you don't have to wait for different rewards. Several weekly timers,such as the ones for event tickets and weekly quests, have also been changed to reset on Tuesday at the same time as the daily resets.
A number of new rewards, new furnishings, and New Alliance Emblem face markings are also included. Several improvements also affect housing, like new filters to placement and retrieval tabs and ways to select items from different sources.
