The Catalyst Now Live in The War Within
With the launch of Season 1 for The War Within, the Catalyst is now live for players to use!
The Catalyst Guide Nerub-ar Palace Class Tier Sets Overview
What is the Catalyst?
The Catalyst allows players to turn non-tier armor pieces into Season 1 Tier Set armor! Using the Catalyst is a simple process, but there are a few requirements:
- Players must have a Veteran track or higher piece of gear available to them.
- Players must have at least one Harmonized Silk charge available.
- The piece of gear cannot be a Crafted piece of gear
Players will gain one charge of Harmonized Silk with the start of Season 1, and then receive another charge every other week after Week 1.
Catalyst Location
The Catalyst is located in the capital city of Dornugal at /way 50.02, 54.23. Players will find the Catalyst Steward, Custodian Khubon, who will assist in converting armor into Tier Set armor.

Eligible Tier Set Armor Sets
For The War Within, the following armor slots will have tier set armor available to them:
- Helms
- Shoulders
- Chests
- Gloves
- Legs
Other armor slots will unlock Tier Set appearances but NOT the tier set bonus. It is encouraged to save Catalyst charges until players acquire their full tier set first!
