The cast of The Batman finds a certain Court of Owls fan theory very interesting. Robert Pattinson leads the cast of Matt Reeves' reboot as Bruce Wayne/Batman alongside Zoë Kravitz as Selina Kyle/Catwoman, Paul Dano as Edward Nashton/the Riddler, Jeffrey Wright as Lieutenant Gordon, John Turturro as Carmine Falcone, Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, and Colin Farrell as Oswald Cobblepot/the Penguin. Even before The Batman's theatrical debut, it was announced that Penguin would be getting his own spinoff on HBO Max.
Opting to skip over his well-known origin story, The Batman will find a younger Bruce in his second year as Gotham's watchful protector as he investigates a series of killings carried out by the Riddler, leading the masked detective down a rabbit hole of corruption in Gotham City. While the movie's promotional campaign has centered on the psychological battle between Batman and the Riddler, there has also been a heavy focus on secrets harbored by the Wayne family which Bruce will inevitably uncover. As expected, fans have gone wild trying to guess what skeletons the popular Gotham socialites have in the closet.
