The Batman, the latest retelling of the Dark Knight's story, has been in cinemas for more than a week and is getting praise the world over. Some might argue that there have been too many Batman movies at this point, and in a sense, they might be right. Others would argue that there has been nothing quite like this, and those who have seen Robert Pattinson's first outing as Gotham's brooding hero have been trying to decide where it ranks alongside other Batman flicks.
The consensus appears to be that The Batman definitely ranks top three overall, but Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight might still be number one. Unless you ask Hideo Kojima who has a take on the Batman movies you probably haven't seen over the course of the past week and half. Actually, it's probably a take you've never seen ever.

“This is my favorite Batman movie,” Kojima tweeted, attaching the Japanese poster for The Lego Batman Movie. That's right, even after seeing The Batman, presumably at some point over the weekend based on the flurry of tweets about it, Kojima's favorite Batman movie is still the Lego one. Better than Batman Begins, better than Michael Keaton's outing in 1989, perhaps even better than Joaquin Phoenix's Joker if that counts as a Batman movie.
