In addition to playing a lead role in the upcoming six-episode thriller drama, the Thor: Love and Thunder star will also executive produce the series through her Viva Maude production company. Hailing from Fifth Season and Jessica Chastain’s Freckle Films, the series is being written by Lady Macbeth’s William Oldroyd, Ozark’s Bill Dubuque, and Fellow Travelers’ Dee Johnson.
Johnson will serve as the showrunner, with Oldroyd set to direct His & Her’s first episode.

The show’s additional executive producers include Viva Maude’s Oldroyd, Dubuque, Johnson, and Kishori Rajan; Campout Productions’ Kristen Campo; and Freckle Films’ Chastain and Kelly Carmichael.
His & Hers will mark Thompson’s return to television following the conclusion of HBO’s Westworld in 2022. The star’s other television credits include Veronica Mars, Hidden Palms, Blue Belle, and Copper.
