Tears of the Kingdom fans are mourning the loss of one of Breath of the Wild's most helpful healing items - the Hearty Durian, which could temporarily increase your maximum heart count when cooked with.
It's been a week since Tears of the Kingdom launched and, by most accounts, it adds to and improves upon Breath of the Wild's formula in pretty much every way. Well, there are a few fan-favourite things that Tears of the Kingdom has either cut or reduced, such as the Remote Bombs and Revali's Gale, but surely there's nothing else important removed that fans can be upset about, right? What do you mean the Hearty Durian isn't in Tears of the Kingdom?!

That's right, Breath of the Wild players will be devastated to know that one of that game's most helpful healing items is absolutely nowhere to be found in the sequel, with no obvious answer as to why it's been taken out of the game. Zelda fans were quick to notice the lack of the fruit, sharing memes about it over on the Tears of the Kingdom subreddit to get over their deep loss.
Take this post from Redditor WeirdMountaineer for example, which celebrates all of the new content and features that are in Tears of the Kingdom, but mourns the fact that we had to lose the Hearty Durian in exchange. The meme quickly became one of the most popular posts on the subreddit over the past few days, which should go some way to telling you how great the fruit was in Breath of the Wild. Thankfully, Tears of the Kingdom players in the comments have offered a few replacement foods, including Hearty Radishes and Hearty Truffles. It's just not the same though, you guys.
