Tears of the Kingdom has brought back a lot of what made Breath of the Wild great and added to it in a way that makes the prior game feel like a dry run. However, the sequel has also taken some well-loved things away, the Master Cycle among them. For those missing what was easily the best way to get around Hyrule before now, one player has already made a Tears of the Kingdom version of the Master Cycle.
Dubbed the Master Cycle 2.0, MrChair has shared their creation on Twitter and what you need to make it yourself has already been added to ZeldaBuilds. ZeldaBuilds is a fan-made site on which Tears of the Kingdom players have been sharing their creations, including lists of materials you will need to try and make them yourselves.

Back to the new Master Cycle. All you'll need to make it is a steering stick, a stabilizer, and two small wheels. No, it doesn't look much like the original, nor is it a Divine Beast, but it's better than no Master Cycle at all. I'm sure there will be other Tears of the Kingdom takes on the vehicle, and it is far from the first mode of transport created during the new game's first few days.
Zelda players have already been putting together boats, hot air balloons, and even a Trojan horse. The ability to make vehicles out of just about anything in Tears of the Kingdom may explain why Link's Master Cycle has mysteriously disappeared. As handy as it was in Breath of the Wild, keeping it around for the sequel would have quickly resulted in it being left to rust as players created far more impressive things to get around Hyrule.
