Survivor: The Season 42 Contestants Most Likely To Get A Second Chance
The finale of Survivor 42 culminated in an impressive win by Maryanne Oketch, but there are several losing castaways who may get a second chance at the game one day. Survivor 42 stands as one of the most celebrated seasons of the show in recent years, coming off of the lukewarm reception to Survivor 41. Much of season 42's praise has come due to its cast, which many fans have lauded as one of the best new player casts that the show has produced.
Similar to seasons like Cagayan, David vs. Goliath, and Millennials vs. Gen X, there is a deep roster of players from the Survivor 42 cast who could one day get the call to return to the show. In an interview with EW, host and executive producer Jeff Probst emphasized how great the cast is and how he wished they could all play again, remarking, "I loved every second of every day with this group. I would play another season again with them right now. Every one of them." Sadly, it's unlikely that they all get a second shot, but there are a select few who are definitely going to be on the short list for potential Survivor second-chancers.

Of theSurvivor 42 cast, the most likely player to book a return trip to the island is exotic animal vet and cunning strategist Omar Zaheer. Omar dominated much of the post-merge strategy of the season, subtly coordinating major blindsides and manipulating his fellow contestants into doing his bidding. Unfortunately, his scheming and likelihood to win was discovered by his tribemates.
