Aspirants applying for this role must have successfully completed a bachelor's degree with a major in either
a) Engineering from a college or university that has at least one ABET accredited engineering program
b) Physical Science, Mathematics, Life Science, Computer Science, or other fields of physical science.
Further, engineering degrees earned outside the United States must be recognized by a Mutual Recognition Agreement (MRA), often known as accords. Degrees in Engineering Technology will not be considered for this position.
Apart from this, the candidate must also have at least one year experience as a technical expert of construction projects to ensure compliance with a large organization.
The candidate will have to manage the overall CoF program, including advocacy for project funding at HQ and for project resources at the Center with line-item budget visibility to Congress.
They will be responsible for all phases of the CoF process including program planning, design engineering, procurement, construction, activation/commissioning and project close out.
They will have to plan, direct efforts, and review the results of the CoF planning process. Presents the CoF program plan to Center and HQ management for approval.
