Superman & Lois now has the setup the Arrowverse needs for Conner Kent, who could be the Arrowverse’s real Superboy. While there are other heroes associated with the name in the comic books, Conner Kent is without question the character with the strongest ties to it. However, it’s Jordan – and not Conner – who is in the best position to receive the title in the Arrowverse.
As things stand, there is no Conner Kent living on the Arrowverse’s Earth-Prime. So far, live-action portrayals of the Superman-Lex Luthor hybrid clone have been limited to Smallville and Titans. As opposed to the Arrowverse eventually adapting Conner, it’s long been assumed that Superman & Lois intends to draw upon more recent DC stories by turning one of Superman’s teenage sons into Superboy. And based on the direction the show has been taking Jordan with his powers and his desire to use them for good, the character developing the Superboy alter ego feels like a real possibility for his character’s future.

Before all is said and done, Jordan may not be the Arrowverse’s only Superboy. Superman & Lois season 2, episode 13, titled “All Is Lost”, secretly set him up when Tyler Hoechlin’s Clark Kent lost his powers to Ally Allston's Parasite. As a consequence of his weakened state, the military's doctors were able to draw some of his blood in an effort to analyze his condition. As noted by Lois, getting his blood would normally be impossible due to his “impenetrable” skin, but because this happened, the door is now open for Superboy to be created.
