We’re still not quite sure what to think of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, a Destiny-esque third-person shooter that’s taken Batman: Arkham Knight developer Rocksteady almost a decade to make. One thing that’s sure not to settle well with fans is that it’ll require an Internet connection – regardless of whether you’re playing solo or multiplayer.

A lot of new gameplay shown
An FAQ page for the game reveals the tidbit, and also confirms crossplay across PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. You won’t need a PS Plus subscription to play single player, but you will if you want to play online in co-op modes. There’ll also be no loot boxes, but there will be in-game cosmetics you can purchase with real-money – as well as a Battle Pass.
So yeah, how are you feeling about the title now? Obviously, this isn’t the first game to require an Internet connection during single player sessions – but it’s rarely a popular decision, is it?

You know what the funny thing is? WB just made a killing off of Hogwarts Legacy...a single player offline game with no live service nonsense shoehorned into it. Oops!
