Street Fighter 6 is out today on on PS5 and PS4, and given the incredibly positive review scores, coupled with all of the pre-launch hype, we wouldn't be at all surprised to see it break some records — specifically in terms of fighting games.

For context, Tekken 7 topped out at 18,966 players (although it launched on PC about a year after its console debut), Mortal Kombat 11 managed 35,147 players, and predecessor Street Fighter V hit 14,783 players. Meanwhile, the more recent Guilty Gear Strive peaked at 31,156 players.
