Stardew Valley's long-awaited 1.6 update finally has a release date. Announced in April of last year, update 1.6 will go live on PC on March 19. There's currently no release date for other platforms, but developer ConcernedApe says it will be made available everywhere else "as soon as possible".
This announcement marks Stardew Valley's eighth anniversary, following its launch on February 26, 2016. Even after all this time, ConcernedApe says that the game is "thriving more than ever", having sold more than 30 million copies since launch.
