Warning: Spoilers for Obi-Wan Kenobi episode 3!
The Obi-Wan Kenobi series confirms via Easter eggs that three Jedi from the Legends continuity are part of the ongoing canon timeline, having survived Order 66. Legends, formerly referred to as the Expanded Universe, was the Star Wars franchise’s official timeline for most of its history but became an alternate continuity in 2014 to clean the slate for the Star Wars sequel trilogy. In canon, the number of Jedi survivors is much smaller by the events of the original trilogy, but the Obi-Wan series hints at canon versions of Legends-era Jedi Purge survivors.
