The has been announced as part of the February 21, 2024 Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase. The collection will include both of Pandemic Studios' 2000s-era games, remastered by Aspyr, the studio behind many previous remasters and ports such as .
While EA's more recent reboot had a fair amount of controversy, the original titles were extremely well received upon their release. The series saw players engage in huge battles between the major factions within the universe, and covered iconic moments from the original and prequel trilogies.
The will be released on March 14, 2024. The collection is intended in celebration of the 20th anniversary of the beloved series, which launched in 2004 and 2005.
Despite being announced during the Nintendo Direct showcase, a PlayStation Blog post revealed that the will be a multi-platform release, coming to PlayStation and Xbox consoles. The original games were released on PC, PlayStation 2, and Xbox, but never saw a release on the Nintendo Gamecube, making the the first time the games can be played natively on Nintendo devices.
The PlayStation and Xbox versions of the will also include Trophies and Achievements.

Aside from playing as numerous Droids, Stormtroopers, Clone Troopers and Rebels, players can also assume control of several «Hero» characters in the series.
