Update: As had leaked prior to Summer Game Fest, the upcoming Sonic X Shadow Generations will launch on 25th October for PS5 and PS4 – and there’ll be exclusive PlayStation content. “Players who buy the game on PlayStation will receive bonus extended prologue animations with never-before-seen deleted scenes,” publisher SEGA has announced.
Pre-orders will come with a Sonic Adventure skin, while the Digital Deluxe Edition will be available 72 hours early, and will include an additional Terios skin for Shadow, as well as more music and an extra level. You’ll also get a digital art book and soundtrack. The standard edition will cost $49.99, while the Digital Deluxe Edition will retail for $59.99.
Original Article: With this year's Summer Game Fest hours away, it was almost inevitable that some of the show's announcements would leak early, considering the industry's leak-happy state. We knew Sonic X Shadow Generations was coming in Autumn, but now it seems the game's box art and release date, 25th October, have been published online.
Dealabs' reliable insider, Billbil-kun (operating under his phantom thief alter-ego, Arsène Lupin), broke this one, and the news swiftly gained traction online. The enhanced remaster will reportedly be released physically, and copies will cost $49.99.
Just yesterday, we learned that Dealabs' investigations had discovered that Concord, like Helldivers 2 before it, will require a PSN account to play on PC. The French-language outlet is clearly cooking; we'll have to wait and see what the rest of the day has in store for us.
