Qualcomm is yet to announce the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, but the Dimensity 9400 will likely provide the chipset with some tough competition, as MediaTek’s flagship SoC was previously leaked to become the first smartphone chipset to cross a score of 3 million in AnTuTu, while also making it the fastest in this specific benchmark. Unfortunately, those bragging rights were short-lived because, according to the latest leak, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 not only becomes the second smartphone silicon to surpass a score of 3 million, it ends up beating its closest rival and experiencing close to zero competition from the A18 Pro.
Realme, a former sub-brand of OPPO, will eventually launch the GT 7 Pro flagship in the coming weeks, making it one of the flagships to sport the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4. The benchmark leak was posted by Smartprix, which collaborated with notable leakster OnLeaks to bring forth these scores. For some reason, the leak refers to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 as the Snapdragon 8 Elite, so perhaps they are aware of something that we might have missed before the official announcement kicks off.
Regardless, coming to the scores, the Realme GT 7 Pro obtained 3,025,991 points, while the Dimensity 9400 mentioned above that was benchmarked in the Vivo X200 Pro was slightly slower at 3,007,853 points, making the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 the winner by a respectable margin. Compared to the A18 Pro running in the iPhone 16 Pro Max, there was no competition in this regard because Apple’s newest SoC obtained a measly 1,651,728 score.
