The highly anticipated upcoming RPG by Obsidian, , is heading to Blizzard's Battle.Net launcher upon release. This means fans of two very different franchises can get their hands on the title in a very interesting way.
Titles that are available through the Blizzard launcher application are purchasable with gold within, meaning that those who wish to get their hands on 2025's most anticipated RPG can do so without dishing out hard-earned cash. This can be done with the use of tokens, which are available on the Auction House within for a pretty penny — or shiny gold. Though this isn't the most straightforward method, it is a very odd one.

The key takeaway here is the fact that in-game gold can be used to purchase the title, with a little elbow grease put into the process, of course. Since Tokens are purchasable from the in-game Auction House, for around 263,000 gold at the time of writing, players could in theory get their hands on several and sell them back to Blizzard for $15, which is added to the player's Battle.Net balance.
As Xbox fans around the world prepare for Avowed's launch, Obsidian has bad news for Xbox Series X players hoping for a next-gen experience.
Though this would be over 1 million gold, as players would most likely need to buy between five and six Tokens to trade into Blizzard, it could be lucrative for gold farmers who already have that kind of gold lying around. While the average player doesn't have millions of gold to play around with, this could be a great way to make in-game gold for those not interested in buying at the moment, as this information could spike the price of the Token by a decent margin.
