The Moth Room, also known as the room, in has a puzzle tied to finding the combination of a padlock you must solve to move forward. This puzzle changes depending on your game's difficulty, but the method for finding the solution always remains the same. You must be observant and follow the clues next to the padlock to discover the right answer.
You'll reach the Moth Room when James explores the eerie Blue Creek apartments in pursuit of his wife. The blue door marked up with the letter over and over leads into a space filled with moths flying around or dead on the floor. Interacting with the padlock to your right will give you a closer look at the combination you have to find, as well as your first clue.
The gameplay of changes the clue of this puzzle slightly if you are playing on Hard difficulty as opposed to Standard or Light. Puzzles are typically more complex on higher difficulties.

Just inspecting the Moth Room will reveal a large moth on the chair behind the padlock, which you can investigate closer. The close-up view of this displayed moth will show how its wings have symbols forming on them. Count the number of symbols you see and add them to the total number of the same symbol you notice on other displayed moths in the room.
