Bloober Team and Konami have released a new patch for Silent Hill 2 remake, fixing various issues across PS5 and PC. The former sees fixes for rare crashes that can occur with AI, texture binding, and streaming. Bugs like a wooden plank appearing in James’ death animation or James teleporting when interacting with the peephole from the wrong side in Brookhaven Hospital have also been fixed.
Various issues have also been addressed with the Abstract Daddy boss, from being unable to hit James during their fight to the third TV having the right audio. As for the PC version, those who use Nvidia DLSS should see fewer visual glitches. DLSS frame generation can also be enabled when using supersampling.
Nvidia Reflex is also enabled when using frame regeneration, while support has been added for AMD FSR 3.1.1. PC players can also enable AMD Fluid Motion Frames when supersampling with FSR 3.1. Check out the full patch notes below for more details.
