is the first MCU Disney+ series of 2023. It brings back Samuel L. Jackson‘s Nick Fury, who teams up with Ben Mendelsohn‘s Talos in an espionage thriller. Based on the comic storyline of the same name, it follows a group of evil Skrulls invading Earth by replacing influential individuals across the planet.

The first episode arrives on June 21, but all the episodes are untitled for now. Shows in the MCU usually reveal episode titles after they stream. The same is expected with Secret Invasion.
The cast of this thriller series includes Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Ben Mendelsohn as Talos, Emilia Clarke as G’iah, Cobie Smulders as Maria Hill, Olivia Colman as Special Agent Sonya, Don Cheadle as James Rhodes a.k.a. War Machine, Dermot Mulroney as President Ritson, Kingsley Ben-Adir as the evil Skrull leader Gravic, and Martin Freeman as Everett K. Ross.
After Captain Marvel, Kevin Feige teased the presence of evil Skrulls in the MCU. Secret Invasion will bring them forward under the leadership of Gravic. Nick Fury and Talos will have to hunt down those Skrulls alone without the help of any Avengers.
Meanwhile, G’iah, the daughter of Talos, will fight the same battle against Gravic. She plays by her own rules with unique fire powers, as she has lost her faith in Nick Fury and her father.
After the premiere on June 21, Secret Invasion will follow a weekly release throughout its 6 episodes. It promises to change the stakes of the MCU, as anybody could potentially be a Skrull. Rumors also suggest a few new superheroes showing up, so keep an eye out for those.
